Children First Center has employment categories of Full Time Equivalent (FTE) at 40 hours per week, .8 FTE at 32 hours per week and .5 FTE for employees working 20 to 32 hours per week. Posted positions will indicate the employment category.

Full Time employees are eligible to participate in the full array of benefits offered by Children First Center, including, but not limited to: Medical Insurance, 401(k) retirement plan, and paid time off. Employees considered at .8 status are eligible to participate in many of the same benefits, on a prorated basis. Employees working less than 32 hours per week are entitled to the legally mandated benefits such as Social Security, Medicare and Workman’s Compensation.

Position
Family Support Worker - H.O.M.E.

Description
Interested in using your social services degree to improve families’ interactions – want to earn extra income? Children First Center has an opening for a part-time Family Support Worker with the H.O.M.E. (Helping Others Meet Expectations) program.

Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in child development, psychology or a related degree. This position will plan and conduct intensive home visiting services to assist families in prevention, pre-placement or reunification services. Available for evenings and weekends is desired. Position
Physical and Speech Therapist

Description
Children First Center announces two openings in its early intervention program – Physical Therapist and Speech Therapist. Both positions require the ability to be credentialed through the First Steps system. Each position will provide services to children birth to three years of age in their specific discipline. Positions are responsible for evaluation and delivery of homebased therapy services to children who require physical or speech therapy.

The successful candidates will work individually with children and their families to help achieve goals and develop skills in the child’s natural environment.

Requirements
Each position requires a current license to practice in the state of Indiana. Children First offers a competitive pay scale.
