HOME PROGRAM
(Helping Others Meet Expectations)
Serving Allen, DeKalb, LaGrange, Noble, Steuben and Whitley counties

Our HOME program provides services for families referred by the Department of Child Services. We walk along side parents and their children as they build protective factors throughout various aspects of their life, leading to stronger family relationships.

HOME-BASED CASEWORK

Supporting families by guiding them in parent education, community resources, behavior modification, child development, goal setting, budgeting and domestic violence education.

SUPERVISED PARENTING TIME

Supervised visitation services offer opportunities for visits between children placed in substitute care and their biological parents while focusing on parent education.

Clinical Services

HOME-BASED AND SUPERVISED VISITATION THERAPY

Our Master's level certified clinicians provide in-home and supervised visitation therapy for families referred by the Department of Child Services. Our clinicians have specialized training in Trauma Focused support services and utilize several evidenced-based practices.

Community Partners

In partnership with SCAN, we offer Community Partners services as a support for families with children ages 17 or younger living in the home.  We can also serve families when they are prenatal or if they have an 18 year old still in school. This program, administered by SCAN, funded by the Indiana Department of Child and Family Services, provides assessments and home-based case management services to connect families to resources to strengthen the family. Families work with their case managers on mutually established goals to move the individuals and family unit towards economic and family stability. Through this program, families can access services such as:

  • Housing crisis assistance

  • Financial education and planning

  • Home scheduling assistance

  • Navigation of a medical diagnosis

  • Job Search

  • And so much more!
